Norman and Ruthann Benson of 13196 Olsen Road, Posen, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 21, 2013. A celebration with family and friends was given in their honor by their children, Annette (James) Hansen of Lachine, William (Melisa) Benson of Beulah and Robin (Nathan) Hubbard of Hillman.

In attendance were their original wedding party, Ron and Darline Wood, Geraldine Hubbard of Hillman and Bill Davis of Milan.

Norman and the former Ruthann Vanderveer were married Sept. 21, 1963 at St. John Lutheran Church in Royston. They have nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
