Bruske 60th
Henry and Gwyn Bruske of 4632 Gehrke Rd., Ossineke, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Sept. 26, 2013. A celebration with family and friends was held at the Alcona Township Hall on Sept. 28.
Henry and the former Gwyn Daoust were married Sept. 26, 1953 in Alpena. Their children are Dan Bruske of Hubbard Lake, Julie Mitchell of Harrisville and Ken Bruske of Ossineke. They have eight grandchildren: Rachel Indish, Thomas (Cassie) Newman, Elizabeth (John) Kaitting, Nathan (Jodie) Mitchell, Amanda (Shaun) Biggs, Charisse Mitchell, Ken (Tara) Bruske and Jessica Bruske.
The couple also have nine great-grandchildren: Zack and Terrin Indish; Jaclyn, Alaina and Isabella Kaitting; Ava and Braxton Mitchell; Morgan and Max Bruske.
Henry is a retired farmer and forester. Gwyn is a retired bus driver with Alpena Public Schools.
