Bill and Norma Alstrom of Ossineke celebrated their 70th anniversary on Nov. 4, 2013 at their home. Daughters Susan Tessmer and Karen Alstrom of Alpena delivered their favorite dinner from Applebee’s.

The couple were married Nov. 4, 1943 in Harrisville by the Rev. Jones. They have six grandchildren: Greg Alstrom, Amy Wieschowski, Matthew O’Neil, Jeremy Kozak, Jeffrey Kozak and Steven Wilson. They also have nine great-grandchildren: Greg Alstrom, Jr., Joshua Alstrom, Tyler Wieschowski, Victoria O’Neil, Nicholas O’Neil, Hannah O’Neil, Emily Kozak, Gloria Kozak and Amelia Kozak.
