Dr. Donald and Patty Spaeth of 8604 Northpoint Shores, Alpena, are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. They rejoice over God’s blessings during their 40 years of marriage, and thank God for His creation of marriage between man and woman (Gen. 2:24).

The couple have four daughters, fours sons-in-law, 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A celebration with their church family is planned on Aug. 18 at New Life Christian Fellowship.
