William and Delores Hanson of 3550 French Rd., Alpena, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Aug. 1, with a trip to Seattle, Wash.

The couple’s children are Ken and Pam MacArthur of Alpena, Tamyra Hanson of Presque Isle, and Eric and Charlene Hanson of Hansville, Wash. Their grandchildren are Jason and Kimberly MacArthur, Ryan and Janae MacArthur, Chase and Sarah Barnett, Aaron and Ericha Diegel, and Shannon Hanson. They also have five great-grandchildren: Vincent, Troy, Gabe, Ben and Ella.

Mr. Hanson and the former Delores Haltiner were married Aug. 1, 1953 at the First Church of God in Alpena. William is retired from Besser Co. and Delores is retired from Kmart.
