Bill and Marion (Bartow) O’Neil of Hillman are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. They were married on July 26, 1953 at Hillman United Methodist Church.

Jim Connon and Bill Bartow stood with the groom while Mavis (Bartow) Hardies and Donna (Emlot) Casewell attended the bride. Their life together has included three children: Enniea and Jake Ehlinger of Manitou Beach, Curt and Amy O’Neil of Venice, Fla., and Mindi and Bret LaCoe of Somerset Center. The couple have five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

After several years in southern Michigan, Bill and Marion have retired back to Hillman where their love affair began. They are celebrating by taking a road trip with their traveling companions, Al and Carol Bartow. Their undying love for each other and the Lord have made them great examples for those who know them.
