Alfonse and Margaret Kamyszek of 7228 Long Rapids Rd., Alpena, recently celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary with their children and grandchildren at the Alpena Senior Citizens Center.

They were honored with a lovely dinner and music. Their children are Randy Kamyszek, Bill and Theresa Straley, Linda Kamyszek, Brian and Beverly Kienzle, Jeff and Shirley Diemond, with a brother, Mark and a sister, Willoma.

The couple’s grandchildren are Angela, Andrew and Adam Kamyszek, Matthew Straley, Jason and Melessa Tomkins, Adam and Rebecca Keys, Jamie, Niclas, Kristyn, Wayne, Danelle Belanger, and Amanda, Maggie and Caitlin Palmer. Their great-grandchildren are Amirah Hunter, Andrew and Gabrela, Hope, Savanah, Charity Kamyszek, Natalie Tomkins, Austin Keys, Blake, Dominic, Nosh, Adam, Cam’ron, Krystal, Leigha, Ellie, Kaylee Belanger, MaKayla, Vanessa, Emily and Lily Kienzle, and step-grandchildren/step-great-grandchildren Gabe, Conner, Kaydence, Jordan and Lucas.

On June 18, 2013, their marriage and rings were blessed by Rev. Richard Schaeffer at St. Ann Catholic Church in Alpena at the 4 p.m. mass.
