Charles and Lorlea Rouleau of Alpena recently celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at their home.

Mr. Rouleau and the former Lorlea Sheldon were married Feb. 10, 1945 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Alpena with Father William Simon officiating. Attendants were Verjean Mellon, Don Rouleau, Bill and Margaret Gamache, Evelyn Mousseau, and Marcella and Ed Zbytowski. Carol Lutes was the flower girl and Jim Rouleau was the ring bearer.

Charles and Lorlea’s children are: Diane (Dave) Kiefer, Mike (Alice) Rouleau, Wendy (Bill) Barnard, Greg (Sue) Rouleau, Lori (Fran) Vorachek, Kim (Kym) Rouleau and Bruce (Pem) Rouleau. Sons Gary Rouleau and Dean Rouleau and daughter Lynette Gagnon are deceased. They also have two daughters-in-law, Vicki Rouleau and Bev Rouleau.

The couple has 22 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren with two on the way, and one great-great-grandchild.
