According to a Bay Athletic Club (BAC) press release on Friday, the facility will expand its hours to 24 hours, seven days a week starting Feb. 1.

In preparation for this transition, BAC reminded members of how they can respect facility equipment and other patrons after hours. BAC stated in the release that members and guests should wipe down their equipment after use and to “be kind.”

The facility is equipped with video surveillance, an emergency phone, an AED machine, and a fire extinguisher. Locker rooms are not monitored so they will be locked after hours.

BAC reminded members and guests to not touch any sound system equipment or computers. The release also stated that alcohol, drugs, weapons, smoking or vaping is not allowed in the facility.

“Treat the facility like your own home,” the release stated. “This is not a request, this is a requirement.”
