The Alpena Free Methodist Church, located in Alpena, invites the community to participate in a Christmas cookie decorating event today from noon to 3 p.m. The church will be accepting donations for Toys for Kids VVA 583 during the event. Donations accepted include new toys, hats, gloves, games, books, and puzzles. Monetary donations will be accepted, as well.
