CCHS Class of 1958 reunion Sept. 20

The Catholic Central High School Class of 1958 will be gathering for their 67th class reunion at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20 at the Court Yard in Alpena.

Friends Together Casino Bus Trip Sept. 27

Friends Together will host a casino bus trip to Soaring Eagle on Saturday, Sept. 27.

Tickets are $59 per person, which includes $30 free play, $10 dining credit, and $10 in bingo bucks. The bus will depart promptly at 7:45 a.m. from the Alpena Meijer parking lot.

Bridge results announced

Alpena Duplicate Bridge Club results have been announced for this week.

Gordon Bennett and Deanna Brege placed first, followed by Dale Middleditch and Linda Ferguson in second, and Marcy Sherman and Linda Clegg in third.

Euchre tournament in Hillman Sept. 27

A euchre tournament will be held on Saturday, Sept. 27 at the Hillman Senior Center, with a meal served at 5 p.m. and play starting at 6 p.m. The entry fee is $20 per person, with prizes and food provided.
