Rabbi Gabrielle Pescador

ALPENA — Temple Beth-El Alpena is pleased to welcome back Rabbi Gabrielle Pescador who will be leading the Shabbat service on Saturday.

Rabbi Pescador serves as rabbi of the Ann Arbor Reconstructionist Congregation and before that served as Interim Spiritual Leader of Temple B’nai Israel of Petoskey. She is also an ordained cantor and has served as a guest cantor in synagogues throughout the country. Rabbi Pescador is a harpist and composer of liturgical music who considers the harp to be an instrument of healing and heart opening that helps people move more deeply into prayer. Attendees will have the opportunity and privilege to experience this during the service.
