Bridge results announced

Alpena Duplicate Bridge Club results have been announced, with Beverley Rousseau and Marcy Sherman in first place, followed by Gordon Bennett and Marge French in second, and Linda Clegg and Lee Stamos in third.

Meet a mermaid Aug. 13

The Alcona County Library will host a special guest at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 13 at the Harrisville State Park. Visitors will have the chance to meet Mermaid Phantom during this free, in-person event. Please note that a Michigan Recreation Passport is required for entry into the park.
