ALPENA — The Alpena Plaza Pool is hosting a free Teen Volleyball event for grades 7 to 12 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday at the pool, located inside Alpena High School, 3303 S. 3rd Ave. This is not an Alpena Public Schools event. It is sponsored by the Friends of Plaza Pool and the Alpena County Youth and Recreation Grant.

Then on Friday, a free Family Wibit Swim will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Alpena Plaza Pool.
