Spooky Friday the 13th events tonight

ALPENA — Three spooky fun events are planned tonight, Friday the 13th, in Alpena.

Join the Alpena County Library from 5 to 6:30 p.m. for a Murder Mystery Party. All “detectives” are welcome. Come in a group or fly solo, but be aware that individuals will be put with random groups. Use the case file and crime scene clues to find the murderer before the end of the night. The library is located at 211 N. 1st Ave., Alpena.

Then, head over to PIF Cider at 205 W. Chisholm St. from 7 to 10 p.m. for an Art Show: “Chapel of Ghouls” by Nicholas Hartman. His artwork will be featured on PIF Cider’s newest cider label.

At 8 p.m., gather at Culligan Plaza for a one-hour walking tour that will take you on a spine-tingling journey through some of Alpena’s most haunted sites. Led by an expert guide who is passionate about the paranormal, you’ll hear chilling stories of ghostly encounters, unexplained events, and eerie folklore. Are you ready to explore the dark side of Alpena? Join other enthusiasts for a night of mystery, history, and the supernatural… if you dare.
