Pied Piper students host Employer Appreciation Luncheon

ALPENA — On Friday, employers that participated in the Pied Piper School work-based learning program attended an Employer Appreciation Luncheon hosted by Pied Piper students.

According to a Pied Piper School press release, the event honored local employers who provided students with real-world work experiences throughout the year. Businesses that participated in the program included: ACC Lumberjack Shack, Alpena Childcare and Development Center, Alpena County George N. Fletcher Public Library, Alpena Events Complex (APlex), AMA Early Childhood Special Education Classroom, Goodwill Northern Michigan, Habitat for Humanity/ReStore, Kipfmiller’s Produce & Meats, Nowicki’s Sausage Shoppe, Perch’s IGA, Save A Lot, and Suite Salon Spa.
