‘Old Timers’ game in Harrisville on Saturday

Classic baseball is back at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Cuyler Park in Harrisville. The public is invited to come out and watch the “Old Timers” game. All proceeds from concession sales will support the Alcona Community Schools Backpack Program.

Hebrew course taught at First Presbyterian Church

Basic Hebrew and “70 Hebrew Words Every Christian Should Know” will be explored in a 12-week course at the First Presbyterian Church in Alpena. The course will begin today and will meet on Thursdays at 4:30 p.m. The course is free and the course book is provided. To register for the class call 989-354-3381. Spots are limited.
