Hunters Harvest gives $2,000 to Friends Together during match challenge final push

Courtesy Photo Hunters Harvest for Charity recently donated to Friends Together’s Match Campaign and Gas Card Challenge. Mark Boyk stopped by and presented two $1,000 checks to Melissa Burns, executive director of Friends Together, to support cancer patients in our six-county service area. The 35-day donor match challenge will conclude on Tuesday, so anyone thinking about donating has today and tomorrow to do so. If the donation total reaches $35,000, an anonymous donor will match that amount. Donations are accepted online and in-person at Friends Together, 105 Prentiss St., Alpena. You can text FRIENDSTOGETHER to 26989, go online and give at friendstogethermi.org, call 989-356-3231 to make a donation over the phone, or bring your donation to Friends Together.
