Used book sale Friday at MyMichigan

ALPENA ­– MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena Volunteers will host a used book sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday in the hospital lobby. The public is welcome.

Breakfast Sunday at Posen VFW

POSEN — The VFW Posen Post 7804 will host a breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon on Sunday.

The menu includes pancakes, sausage, eggs to order, biscuits and gravy, hash browns, and desserts to order.

The cost is $10 per adult, $5 per child ages 5 to 12, and free for children younger than 5.

Takeouts are available, and the hall is handicap accessible. The public is welcome.

Good Morning Alpena May 3

ALPENA — Join the Alpena Area Chamber of Commerce to hear updates from a variety of businesses and organizations from around town at the next Good Morning Alpena.

Breakfast starts at 7 a.m., and the program will begin at 7:30 a.m. at Alpena Golf Club, 1135 E. Golf Course Road, Alpena.
