Dancing with Joy dancers will perform ballet, lyrical, pointe, and tap numbers in their annual recital at Alpena High School’s auditorium at 7 p.m. Thursday.
The high school is located at 3303 S. 3rd Ave., Alpena.
This year’s recital theme, “April Showers Bring May Flowers,” celebrates springtime, the season of new growth and new beginnings.
With that in mind, Dancing with Joy is happy to announce that portions of the recital proceeds will be donated to a Michigan-based entity, Women At Risk, International.
WAR helps encourage new growth and new lifestyles in women who have been victims of human trafficking.
