ROGERS CITY — Rogers City volunteers rallied together to host Friday hotdog sales in June and July to support Friends Together, a nonprofit organization that helps patients who have been affected by cancer.

The generous support of time, talent and products of Alpena Alcona Area Credit Union, Ice Cream Lane, Plath’s Meats, Pepsi, Save-A-Lot, dedicated volunteers, and all of the amazing “picnic” guests raised $9,517.22 to support Friends Together.

This outstanding donation will help get people to and from their critical care appointments, provide gas cards, transportation, and overnight lodging. Friends Together services Alpena, Alcona, Presque Isle, Montmorency, Oscoda and Iosco counties.
