Moltke Maize Maze raises $2,000 for Friends Together

Courtesy Photo Great things are happening at the Moltke Maize Maze in Rogers City. Recently, the Brege and Tulgestke families came together and designed an amazing corn maze with three levels of exciting challenges within, yard games, photo sites, wagon rides and simply “old-fashioned family fun.” On Saturday, Sept. 16, they hosted their first annual “corn-porate” challenge fundraiser to benefit Friends Together and the cancer patients they serve. On Wednesday, Sept. 27, Scott and Shannon Brege and Heide and Ralph Tulgestke hosted a private event for Friends Together and presented this outstanding $2,000 donation to Shelly Gibbs, Fundraising Coordinator for Friends Together. Gibbs stated that everyone had a blast testing their knowledge, walking through the tall corn stalks, laughing, and simply enjoying life! Friends Together is a nonprofit cancer support center servicing Alpena, Alcona, Presque Isle, Montmorency, Oscoda, and Iosco counties.
