AAACU donates to Art in the Loft

ALPENA — Through the hard work and dedication of its employees and the generosity of its membership, Alpena Alcona Area Credit Union raised $846.24 in monetary donations for Art in the Loft R.E.A.C.H program.

R.E.A.C.H (Recognize Everyone’s Ability and Creative Hearts) provides students with special needs an opportunity to learn vital life-skills that better their education while instilling confidence and self-efficacy to be successful in all aspects of their life.

In addition to member donations, team members held raffles and donated $2 per employee to dress down on Fridays to help raise money.

AAACU serves members primarily in Alpena, Alcona, Montmorency, and Iosco counties with 10 locations: a main office located in Alpena, a Wildcat Branch in Alpena High School and with branch offices in Ossineke, Lincoln, a Tiger Branch in Alcona Community Schools, Atlanta, Oscoda, the Owl’s Nest in Oscoda Area Schools, Tawas, and an additional branch in Alpena. As of Dec. 31, 2021, AAACU, provides service to 32,444 members with total assets equal to $536,198,339.
