Thunder Bay CHS appreciation day

Courtesy Photo The above photo is of Thunder Bay Community Health Service staff, CEO Michelle Styma, and Board Chair Ben Bolser.

How do you give essential working staff a standing ovation for all the effort and work over these past horrendous months?

At Thunder Bay Community Health Service, Inc., administrators traveled to each site and delivered a “picnic gift” that included a cooler full of items for the entire family and two lawn chairs to each staff member to enjoy with their families. The gift included a cooler — filled with beach towels, thermos glasses, paper products, items for campfire s’mores and other miscellaneous items for family fun gathering.

Smiles were seen and applause of appreciation was heard from across each parking lot site as CEO Michelle Styma expressed this was not a fire drill, but “a thankful and grateful drill.”

Each site celebration included a thank you and appreciation remarks along with thoughts of the past year and sincere gratitude for all that has been accomplished from staff.

Board Chair Ben Bolser and Mrs. Bolser traveled to sites as well to express gratitude and thanks to staff for their dedication to our communities. Board Member Beach Hall stopped by the Rogers City site and Shanna Johnson visited the Fairview site to share heartfelt thanks as well.

“It was an awesome day at Thunder Bay, with visiting, laughter and a few tears of joy and gratefulness that we are beginning to see some relief from the virus,” a press release from TBCHS stated.
