Family Fun Run at Plaza Pool

On Fridays, today and Oct. 23 and 30, families can swim for free from 6 to 8 p.m. at Alpena County Plaza Pool, located at Alpena High School.

If your hair is longer than 2 inches, you must wear a swim cap if you go under water.

Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult in the water.

Masks are required for everyone over the age of 5 when entering the facility and in all other areas except in the water. You may want to bring a plastic bag to place your mask poolside.

These free events are sponsored by the Alpena County Youth and Rec Millage and Friends of Plaza Pool.

For more information and to view a video of the fun run, featuring an inflatable floating obstacle course and slide, visit Alpena Plaza Pool on Facebook.
