Girls sending out handcrafted soap

Courtesy Photos Audra and Atiya Woolman and their friend Juliana Lowe, all of Williamston, have been making handcrafted soap and handing it out or sending it to people they want to bless.

Bronwyn Woolman of Alpena submitted these photos of her granddaughters and their friend, all of Williamston. Her granddaughters are Audra and Atiya Woolman and their friend is Juliana Lowe.

What they are doing is making their own soap and calling it “Another Beautiful Day.” They are doing this as a ministry and handing them out or mailing soap to people they think might enjoy it.

On the back of the box they wrote “Atiya, Juliana and Audra really enjoyed making this delightful coconut scented soap. They hope that you will like this soap as much as they do.”

They try to think of individuals that might need a blessing in their lives right now. And who doesn’t?

Atiya and Audra spend the summers up here sailing with Steve Fletcher on the yinglings out in the bay. This summer they were going to help teach the younger children who participate in the Summer Youth Sailing Club, but that has now been canceled.

Three girls have been making this handcrafted soap and sending it out to people who need a blessing right now.

“They are great girls and I am real proud of them for trying to make a difference in someone’s lives,” Woolman said.
