K of C gives $2,200 to seminarians

The Alpena Knights of Columbus Council 529 made a $2,200 donation to the Gaylord Diocese seminarians from a special fish dinner held on Feb. 21 at the K of C Hall.

Three locals seminarians each received $550, and the remaining $550 was to be divided among the remaining seminarians.

The Council was appreciative of the community support from those who attended the fish dinner, those who baked a dessert, and those who worked the event.

The Alpena Knights of Columbus Council 529, and all K of C Councils, make very generous donations to charities and other worthy causes in their community, state, and through the national and international organization.
