Estate planning with marijuana Monday

Association of Lifelong Learners will explore estate planning with marijuana in consideration with Gary Bauer from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday at Alpena Community College’s M. Briggs Center.

Class of 1959 reunion deadline Monday

The Alpena High School Class of 1959 reservation deadline for the 60th class reunion is Monday.

The reunion will be held on Saturday, Aug. 24.

Craft trunk sale July 20

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, is a craft supply and trunk sale at The Craftmakers’ Cabin of Harrisville.

The Cabin is located at the corner of U.S.-23 and M-72. It costs $5 to sell your stash of craft supplies you have accumulated or inherited out of the trunk of your car. The rain date is July 21. Contact Nancy to participate at 734-904-0108.

Dinner July 20 at Hope

A roast pork and turkey dinner will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, July 20, at Hope Lutheran Church, 5462 W. Nicholson Hill Rd., Hubbard Lake. The cost is $12 per person, $5 per child 5 to 12, and free for those under age 5. Family rate is $30. Takeouts are available. Proceeds will go toward “Build Hope.”
