The Alpena FOE Auxiliary #1241 met at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, for its regular meeting, with president Linda Fairchild presiding.

At 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, a District 8 meeting will be held at the Indian River Aerie for all paid up members to attend.

Then from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, burger night will be at the Alpena Aerie.

Upcoming events:

¯ On April 23, nomination of officers will be held. A sign-up sheet is at the Aerie for members to fill in the offices they wish to hold. The next regular meeting will be at 7 p.m.

¯ From 5 to 7 p.m. on April 24, Polish Nite will be at the Aerie.

¯ At 4 p.m. on April 30, a joint meeting will be held for all members to attend.

¯ From 1 to 4 p.m. on May 5 and 6, the Zone 3 spring conference will be at the Gaylord Aerie.

¯ From 2 to 5 p.m. on May 11 will be the Lavina Brown Memorial.

¯ Starting in May, regular auxiliary meetings will be changed to 6 p.m.

Get well cards were sent to Janene Skiba and Clarise Grzenkowicz, who are on the sick list.

Members are reminded to send in their upcoming dues to the FOE Aerie or secretary Diane Struzik at P.O. Box 373, Atlanta MI 49709. Dues must be paid before May 31.
