The Kiwanis Club of Alpena invites the community to its celebrity server night from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Pizza Hut in Alpena.

Members of Kiwanis and the Alpena Key Club will be waiting tables and collecting tips to help support the Kiwanis Kiddie Park located near the Alpena Band shell.

The Kiddie Park has served the community for over 50 years and was refurbished in 1994. The park is a regular stop for many children and adults throughout the summer.

When events are happening in the area of the park, many children enjoy playing on the rides or running all over the fenced enclosure.

Pizza Hut also will have carry out and delivery services on Monday and patrons are welcome to make a donation in support of the park. Additionally donations can be mailed directly to the Alpena Kiwanis Club at P.O. Box 634, Alpena, MI 49707.
