The local election process was described by presentations, handouts, and a fun quiz game at a recent meeting of the League of Women Voters of Alpena County.

Presenters included the following county and city clerks: Alpena City Clerk Anne Soik, Alcona County Clerk Stephany Eller, Alpena County Clerk Bonnie Friedrichs, and Presque Isle County Clerk Ann Marie Main.

The ins and outs of election procedures included information such as poll workers, absentee ballots, challengers, and the Board of Canvassers.
