Kathryn (Kacie) Winter and Max Pratt, both of Grand Rapids, announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Greg and Jan Winter of Alpena. Kacie is a 2007 graduate of Alpena High School. She graduated with an Associates of Arts Degree from Grand Rapids Community College in 2012 and is currently working at Scott Group Custom Carpets in Grand Rapids.

The future groom is the son of Hugh and Nancy Pratt of Bath. Max graduated from Bath High School in 2007, then entered the United States Marine Corp and served from 2007 to 2011. He will graduate from Grand Valley State University in April 2014 with a degree in Supply Chain Management.

The couple will exchange their wedding vows on May 3, 2014 in Bath.
