Rachel Gebauer and Andrew Garant, both of Minot, N.D., announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jack and Brenda Gebauer. The future groom is the son of Jim and Nancy Garant.

The bride-to-be is a 2008 graduate of Alpena High School and a 2012 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy. She is currently employed by the Air Force. The future groom is a 2008 graduate of Alpena High School. He graduated from Mesabi Range College in 2010 and is currently employed by Mattson Construction.

The couple are planning a July 12, 2014 wedding at St. Mary Catholic Church in Alpena.
