James Morrison

MORRISON, James, 61, of Alpena, died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2022. He is survived by his wife Monica, and his two sons, James (Samantha), and Cory (Alisha) Allen. A celebration of Jim’s life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022, from 3-5 p.m. at McWilliams Funeral Home. A complete obituary will appear in a future edition of The Alpena News.

Patricia Ann Koss age 85 of Alpena passed away peacefully at home on Oct. 25, 2022. She was born June 3, 1937 in Rogers City to Charles and Clara (Siecinski) Bellmore. SHIRLEY ROBILLARD

Shirley Robillard, age 89, went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 15, 2022. Shirley was born in Alpena to James and Emma (Sheff) MacArthur on July 26, 1933. Shirley married her high school sweetheart, Donald Robillard, April 24, 1954, at St. Anne Catholic Church. Donald preceded her in death – June 9, 1999. She graduated from Catholic Central High School in 1951 and was employed at Frazer Products. She enjoyed being a homemaker and was always there to help others. MAXINE JOYCE SZAFRANSKI

Maxine Joyce Szafranski, 92, of Barton City, passed peacefully away to her heavenly home the morning of Sunday, Oct. 16, 2022 at Lincoln Haven Nursing Home. Born Sept. 4, 1930 to Robert Maxwell and Clara Mae (Richardson) Hall in Pelham, Ontario, Canada, Maxine was raised in Windsor where she met her future husband. FRANCES L. HALL

Frances L. Hall was born June 20, 1936 to Cornelius and Lily White in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was the youngest of three children, two of which preceded her in death. She was a very loving mother and grandmother. Frances attended Detroit Catholic Schools in which she graduated and attended beauty school and did hair. In 1956 she met Jerry Hall and was united and wed on Feb. 11, 1957. From this union four children were born. Ronald F. Wiseman, 80, of Alpena passed away peacefully Friday, Oct. 21, 2022, at MediLodge of Alpena. Ron was born Jan. 4, 1942, in Plymouth, Michigan to the late Frank and Dorothy (Frey) Wiseman. Never one to sit still, Ron was always on the move, always staying busy with something. He worked on a farm in his earlier years before taking on his real interest which was woodworking. Ron was a member of the Carpenters Union for many years. Ron survived a couple of traumatic events in his life which included a shark bite as well as being buried alive.
