Joy Berndt, 72, of Alpena passed away Monday, Oct. 24, 2022, at MediLodge of Alpena. Joy was born Jan. 12, 1950, to the late William and Gertrude (Neumann) Berndt. She worked at Alpena City Hall distributing mail and NEMROC. Joy was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Surviving are her two brothers, Paul (Rebecca) Berndt, Ron (Brenda) Berndt; and several nieces and nephews. Joy was preceded in death by her brother James Berndt.
