John Chester Losinski, age 83, of Warren, Michigan passed away on Oct. 29, 2022. He was a loving husband to Marina for 57 years and a beloved father to his four children, Greg (Kristin), Deann (Keith) Kujawski, Jason (Kari), and Jan (Steven) Gardner. Ronald Meneghel, 91, of Alpena passed away Oct. 26, 2022. Ron was born Oct. 20, 1931, in Detroit to the late Armand and Cecelia (Fitch) Meneghel. He enlisted in the Navy following high school and used that opportunity to continue his education. He went on to obtain his Master of Education from Eastern Michigan University where he would meet his “Rosie”. He and Rosie were married for 56 years before her passing in 2016. Randall Curtis Thackston, 72 of Tampa Florida formerly of Alpena, Michigan passed away peacefully, Oct. 12, 2022, with family by his side. Randy was born May 22, 1950, in Alpena to the late Samuel Curtis and Margaret-Ane (Gusler) Thackston. Gerald Donakowski, 87, of Alpena died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2022, at MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena. Gerald was born April 28, 1935, to the late Philip and Myrtle (Minton) Donakowski in Alpena, Michigan. Jerry was raised in Alpena and attended Catholic Central High School. He married his sweetheart, Carolyn Baker on May 22, 1954; they celebrated 68 years together. Early in their marriage they moved to Lachine to their dream hobby farm, where they raised their family.
