WAYNE ARHTUR LISKE

Wayne Arthur Liske , 69, of Ossineke passed away Friday, July 15, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Wayne was born in Detroit to the late Arthur and Velda (Schiellerd) Liske on Oct. 30, 1952. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and owned and operated Wayne Liske Construction for many years. On May 23, 1971, he married Patricia Howay. He was an active member of the Ossineke United Methodist Church, enjoyed hunting and fishing. BOUTILIER, Michael, 56, of Alpena, died at home Saturday, July 16, 2022. He is survived by his three children, Heather (Cole) Gusler, Christopher (Kayla), Eric (Amanda), and nine grandchildren, Caitlyn, Jesse, Liam, Jordan, Lexi, Skylar, Roselin, Ulysses, and Avianna. Michael has been taken for cremation with no services planned at this time. McWilliams Funeral Home has assisted the family.

SHIEMKE, Irene Rose, 97, of Ossineke, Michigan, died Friday, Dec. 10, 2021. A graveside service will take place at St. Catherine Catholic Cemetery on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 1 p.m. with Fr. John William officiating. Karpus Hunter & Ross Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Ryan Alan Rembowski, 47, of Seattle, Washington, formerly of Alpena, passed away at home June 14, 2022. Ryan was born Feb. 13, 1975, in Alpena. He graduated from Alpena High School where enjoyed his time as a foreign exchange student in Germany as a senior. Ryan graduated with a 4.0 GPA and later attended Alpena Community College before he eventually made his way to Seattle. His relationship with his mother was always very important to him as she was his rock, always anchoring him through the storms of life. His witty sense of humor will be dearly missed. SZOTT, Eleanor Mary, 102, of Krakow Township, died July 14, 2022 at MediLodge in Alpena with her son and daughter-in-law by her side. She is survived by her son, Bob (Judy) of Grand Lake; three grandsons, Terry (Kelly) of Hawks, Jason (Julie) of Alpena and Kevin (Jessica) of Alpena; six great grandchildren,and one sister, Sophie Andrzejewski.
