GLEN PAUL GAGNON

Glen Paul Gagnon, 66, of Alpena passed away Friday, October 7, 2022, at MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena. Glen was born August 12, 1956, in Flint to the late Eugene and Grace (Grenkowicz) Gagnon. He was a lifelong resident of the area where he loved being in the woods and camping. He worked at the Fletcher Paper Company for 20 years until they closed. Glen loved all things sports. He had the opportunity to enjoy an out-of-town golfing trip with his son just this summer. Stewart ‘Stu’ James Highhouse, III, 68, of Alpena, passed away Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022, at his home. Stewart James Highhouse, III was born in El Paso, Texas on Feb. 2, 1954, to the late Stewart and Carmen (Hernandez) Highhouse, Jr. Stu enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, and was a member of the Michigan Independent Riders Group. DETLOFF, Frank, 88, of Alpena, died on Monday, Oct. 10, 2022, at Sally’s Care Home. Family will receive friends for memorial visitation at Karpus Hunter & Ross Funeral Home on Sunday, Oct. 16, 2022, from 2 p.m. until the funeral service at 4 p.m. with Deacon Mike Roy officiating. RUSSELL JAMES LeTOURNEAU

Russell James (Jim) LeTourneau died Oct. 8, 2022, at age 81. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Eugene and Bernadette (Brousseau) LeTourneau and lived his life in Alpena. He graduated from Alpena Catholic Central High School in 1960 and served two years in the US Army. Jim was married to Sally Buszka in 1963. He was employed by Abitibi Corporation for 42 years, until his retirement. Jim loved to hunt and fish and was a 50-year member of the 11-40 Hunt Club, in which his father was a founding member.
