Surviving are his wife, Joan Lewandowski; five children together Michele Herrington (Frank Cliggett), Julie Archer (Eric), Lori Budnik-Snapper (David Wayne), Paul and Kim Budnik-Nap. He had four grandchildren Michelle (Russell II), Melissa (Barry), Austin (Meghan), Tyler (Mikaela); and three great-grandchildren; five siblings, Emil (Patsy), George (Joanie), Lawrence (Barb), Mitch (Clara); and Jeanette (William) Buczkowski.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, Oct. 16, 2022, at the Bannan Funeral Home from 2-8 p.m. with military honors at 4 p.m. and a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue Monday at St. Anne Church of All Saints Parish from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Tyler Bischoff officiating.
