Sandra was born on Aug. 23, 1946, to the late E. Jane and Harold Barton in Alpena. She was a graduate of Alpena High School. On Aug. 26, 1967, she was united in marriage with Carl J. Donajkowski. They spent 53 years together. Sandra worked at Lafarge Presque Isle for 39 years retiring in 2003. She was a member of St. John and St. Anne parish. She was a member of Zonta for 25 years and served time as president. Sandra was also a member of Alpena Sportsman’s Club. Glen Thomas Girard, 57, of Alpena passed away Friday, Dec. 9, 2022, at Hurley Medical Center – Flint as the results of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Glen was born Oct. 22, 1965, in Alpena to the late Clarence and Audrey (LaCross) Girard. He served in the United States Army. He married Sally Smolinski on Sept. 22, 2018.
