The Woods Track Club finished their season at the state track meet in fine fashion. The indoor track club had five athletes earn All-State honors during the two-day event held at both Central Michigan University and Eastern Michigan University. Zachary Zaborney had an outstanding weekend finishing second overall in the triple jump (41-05.75), Gabe Bullis also had a second place finish, with a vault of 15'9 in the pole vault. Aden Smith finished third overall in the 1600 (4:19) followed closely by his brother Josh who finished fourth (4:21). Eli Winter finished seventh overall in the shot put with a throw of 48'10. Winter also participated in the weight throw and placed ninth with a throw of 51'10. Zaborney also placed 11th in the long jump (20-02.75), 18th in the Sprint Medley Relay along with teammates Clay Donajkowski, Kody Bertrand and Drew Seabase, and qualified for the semi-finals in the 60 meter hurdles. Other Woods athletes competing and having stand out meets were Maddy Boyd who ran a 11:09, finishing ninth in the 3200, the girls Sprint Medley Relay team consisting of Alexis Reynolds, Madi Szymanski, Grace Mitchell and Emma Fountain finished 12th overall with a time of 4:36.25. Szymanski also set a career best in the 1600 with a time of 5:14, and Arthur Paad competed in the shot with a throw of 43'2.
