1 hurt in crash at Bagley, M-32

ALPENA -- One person was taken to the hospital after a multi-vehicle wreck Thursday just south of the intersection of M-32 and Bagley Street.
Airbags deployed in at least two of the four vehicles involved in the crash around 5 p.m. Thursday, just east of the lighted intersection. The Alpena Fire Department transported one person to MidMichigan Medical Center-Alpena for treatment. Otherwise, occupants of the vehicles appeared to be uninjured and were walking around the scene, but first-responders were unavailable for comment.
Crews from the Alpena Fire Department were soon joined by the Alpena Township Fire Department and the Michigan State Police-Alpena Post.
Vehicles traveling west on West Washington Avenue, also known as M-32, were briefly diverted through the shopping center at the northeast corner of the intersection.
