A heavily damaged car sits in the middle of M-32 after being involved in a head-on collision on Monday. The car and a truck were involved and traffic on the highway was slowed to one lane, as rescue crews attended to the injured, and cleaned up the scene.

Little was left to the front end of the truck involved in a bad accident in Alpena on Monday. After making contact with another vehicle the truck ended up in the ditch.
A head-on collision near the intersection of M-32 and M-65 North this afternoon sent one to the hospital with serious injuries.
A two-vehicle crash between a pickup truck and an SUV required the driver of the SUV to be extracted from the vehicle with the Jaws of Life. The driver was then transported by ambulance to MidMichigan Health Center-Alpena with serious injuries. The driver of the pickup was transported to the hospital by private vehicle after being checked on scene by responders, according to police.
Traffic on M-32 in that area was slowed to one lane.
