HILLMAN - The Hillman Varsity Lady Tigers volleyball team secured a dominant sweep over Whittemore-Prescott on Thursday night, taking the match in three straight sets with scores of 25-19, 26-24, and 25-15.
With the victory, the Tigers improved to 5-4 overall on the season.
Hillman's offense and defense clicked behind a strong balanced effort from: Aubrey Weiland with 13 points, four aces, seven kills, six digs; Madelyn Oswald with 13 points, 21 assists, four kills, and 5 digs; and Maci Klein with 11 points, 6 kills, and 3 digs.
The Tigers will look to keep momentum rolling next week as they hit the road to face AuGres on Tuesday before returning home to host Oscoda on Thursday.
