ALPENA — It was a big day on Monday for Alpena Community College athletics as a pair of Alpena High School seniors signed on to play sports for the local college. In a press release Tuesday, it was announced that Georgia Alberts will be playing for the Lumberjacks softball team next season and Kaila Girard will be playing volleyball.
