The Alpena 8-10 softball team is holding several fundraisers this weekend ahead of playing in the state tournament.

Today, the team is holding a bottle and can drive from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Huron Distributors.

On Sunday, there will a pulled pork sandwich and hot dog pop-up at Hungry Hippy in the parking lot on State Avenue from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The team will play in the state tournament, which begins next week near Gladstone. During the team’s last tournament games, it beat opponents by a combined score of 38-5.
