Alpena baseball team honored for 2022 achievements

Courtesy Photo The Alpena High baseball team recently honored several players for their accomplishments during the 2022 season. Pictured left to right are: Logan Momrik (MVP pitcher), Jake Zann (Offensive MVP), Matt Thompson (Team MVP), Brady Kollen (Coaches Award) Alex Cadarette (Defensive MVP) and Brady Pagels (Cousineau Award (Defensive MVP for MacKenzie tournament)). Additionally, several players earned all-Big North Conference honors for the season. Brady Niedzwiecki was named a first team outfielder, Zann was named a second team infielder, Thompson was named a second team outfielder, Travis Weide was named a second team DH/utility player and Momrik earned an honorable mention as a pitcher.
