ROGERS CITY–Lucas Stone scored 22 points and the Vikings (11-3) started the game on a 22-8 run to avenge a loss to the Hurons last Friday. Posen led 38-23 at halftime and 51-36 after three quarters. AJ Brunet added 14 points for Posen, Chase Dubie had 12 and Ethan Soik had 11.

Hillman 45, Pellston 40

HILLMAN–Despite an 11-0 start, the Tigers (10-7) had to battle to the end with the Hornets, outscoring them 16-9 in the fourth quarter to put the game away. Trenton Taratuta led Hillman with 15 points and Sean Henigan added eight.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Hillman 52, Mio 33

MIO–Nicole Barbeau scored 22 points and all players scored for the Tigers (10-6) in a win Friday. Brooke Bennett added eight points for Hillman as the Tigers snapped a two-game losing streak and finished the regular season with a win.

Oakland 85, Alpena 39

AUBURN HILLS — A slow start cost the Lumberjacks again on Friday. Mollie Girard led ACC with 14 points and Jade Schultz added nine.

MEN’S BASKETBALL

AUBURN HILLS — Parker Neu had 18 points for the Lumberjacks (1-8) and Chris DeRocher added 12 points and nine rebounds in a loss Friday.
