Alpena netters top Gaylord
GAYLORD–The Alpena High volleyball team opened Big North Conference play with a win on Wednesday, defeating Gaylord.
Alpena defeated the Blue Devils, 25-12, 25-17, 11-25 and 25-14
Alllie DeRocher controlled the net for Alpena with six blocks and eight kills; Kate Skiba had six kills and 14 digs; Kami Schultz had four kills and Jade Gray had 14 kills, six aces and 14 assists.
