Lumberjacks routed in 2019-20 season finale

WARREN–The Alpena Community College men’s basketball team ended the 2019-20 season with a thud, losing to Macomb 117-52 on Wednesday.

ACC (2-24) fell behind 62-19 at halftime and continued to struggle in the second half.

Despite the loss, sophomore Logan Guenther ended his ACC career on a record-setting note. The Cheboygan High graduate scored 10 points and grabbed nine rebounds to finish his career with 787 points. Guenther’s total moved him into a tie with Gary Mischley on ACC’s all-time scoring list and past Tom Richardson, who had 786.

Cleveland Baker led ACC with 16 points off the bench and Garett Miller added nine.

Djuan Seal led Macomb with 18 points, Houston Tucker added 15 and Matthew Richmond and Delano Williams each had 11.
